Emma Everett

Senior Consultant

After I qualified in Business Administration I began my recruitment journey soon after college. My early career started as a consultant and I worked my way up to become a Qualified Branch Manager of a very busy temp desk supplying carers, support workers and nurses to homes and projects across Essex and Suffolk. I moved into permanent recruitment with a small up and coming company which provided a recruitment solution for key management and executive positions.

The last 6 years has seen my focus move to executive search where I have built up an extensive network of contacts that are not actively on the market. I have a genuine interest in the sector and enjoy identifying candidates that fit the brief but also bring something a bit different than perhaps the other candidates on the shortlist. For me, discretion and sensitivity when recruiting is vital to maintain the very best representation for my clients. As such it’s also important for me to take pride in what I do, and I value the strength of working as a team as we all strive to reach the highest standards.

Health and social care is full of remarkable people that love what they do and work so hard to make a difference to the lives of the people they support; I can’t imagine recruiting in any other sector would bring as much satisfaction and fulfilment as this.

As much as experience goes a long way I believe that there is always more to learn especially in this ever-changing sector of Health and Social Care. I can be seen regularly at sector events, awards and seminars and to refresh and update on recruitment matters and procedures I completed my Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Recruitment in 2016.
