Neil Horwood

Senior Consultant

Before my career in recruitment started in 2007, I worked as a Senior Complaints Handler for the Royal Mail Ombudsman. My decision to move into recruitment saw me working on a temp desk placing locum Social Workers into Local Authority, NHS and Charity settings. I progressed my career from Consultant up to Operations Manager for the Social Work Team based in Colchester.

Finally, I arrived at Bright where I specialise in the permanent recruitment of senior managers within Health and Social Care. I’ve worked long and hard to develop the North of England into a viable and vibrant Bright territory and I’m lucky enough to work exclusively with several amazing groups.

Much like the rest of my colleagues, I work on both a consultative and executive search basis and always strive to go that extra mile to ensure the right candidate is matched with the right client.

I have a real passion for what I do – I share the same values as Bright Selection; I believe in providing the highest quality service at all times and I love the team ethic at Bright Selection. I feel truly valued at Bright Selection as both an employee and a person.

I’m a football enthusiast, especially England and Watford, meaning that I must be a realist with a great sense of humour – I’m highly competitive and always put in 100% effort.

I love family time, although having three young children (all boys) does have its ups and downs. Love watching films and The Walking Dead. Gym newcomer!
