Stephanie White

Senior Consultant

Recruiting senior candidates in the care sector in the Southern Home Counties and South Coast.

My first ever full time role was as an administrator for a Colchester-based charity that provided support and housing to adults with learning disabilities. Here I supported the Registered Care Manager with formulating care plans, the weekly rota and organising various and successful fundraising events!

Following third sector work, I took a move into the commercial sector as a Lettings Negotiator which introduced me for the first time to a sales environment and the importance of integrity in customer-focused roles. It was while working here I discovered a real passion to work with people and an erstwhile colleague suggested recruitment, so in 2011 I joined a local IT recruitment company as part of their UK Contracts team where I generated new business placing contractors across the UK for large blue chip organisations.

In November 2013, I became a member of the Bright family as a Recruitment Consultant covering the South Coast. I feel extremely fortunate to place some of the most experienced, quality candidates into award winning organisations who make a difference to the vulnerable people they care for. Now, as a Senior Consultant, I recruit on behalf of the best care home operators in the UK, and mentor new team members, teaching them the Bright way.

In my current role as senior consultant I see myself as responsible and accountable every day, I understand that it is life changing when you consider a new job role in the permanent sector, which is why I always take the time to get to know my clients and candidates briefs and match them correctly.

I am enthusiastic and driven with a strong work ethic to achieve results, since joining Bright I have become extremely passionate about changing the perception of care homes in the UK and lifting the stigma.
