Salary:              £50k plus excellent benefits

Location:        Bristol

An exciting opportunity to manage a purpose built nursing & residential home on behalf of an established care provider in the care home sector for older people. The home benefits from a good reputation locally and a long standing staff team, recently rated “good” with CQC and now seeks a committed manager to continue to ensure best practice.

As the successful candidate you will ideally be nurse qualified with an NMC Pin or a proven track record of managing a clinical setting, you will register with CQC as the manager and be responsible for compliance, you will also manage the homes financial budget and ensure that the environment is safe, in line with current regs and staff are trained and supported to provide quality care.


  • To register with CQC as the registered manager
  • Maintain key relationships with MDT’s and other healthcare professionals
  • Continue to effectively market the care home and ensure occupancy targets are met
  • Ensure the home is in line with regulations such as H&S, MCA, DoLs, Care Act
  • Promote best practice across all employees within the home
  • To coach, mentor and promote the staff team


  • Excellent knowledge of CQC & current regulations
  • Level 5 in leadership & Management
  • A proven track record of managing a similar type of service
  • A collaborative management style
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Financially astute; budgets, P&L
