Care Home Manager – Flagship Care Village – Residential & Dementia Care

£50k – £55k plus excellent benefits

Bright Selection are recruiting on behalf of an award winning, national charity who are now seeking a Home Manager for a brand new residential & dementia home in the Salisbury area!

The role will be to oversee the day to day management of the residential & dementia wing (72 beds), being part of a large care centre and sharing the site with a smaller wing that provides more advanced dementia care. As the successful candidate you will commission the new care home and build key links with the community, you will recruit a new team and ensure they are supported and mentored correctly and you will ensure the home is compliant with CQC as the Registered Manager.

Core Experience

  • Level 5 in leadership & management or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of Dementia care
  • Proven background working in a supervisory role in a care setting
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC and other legislation
  • Collaborative management style


  • To register with CQC as the Registered Manager
  • To commission the newly opened Dementia care home
  • Introduce innovative dementia care strategy
  • Recruit and retain a quality focused team including care, dementia specialist, kitchen & housekeeping
  • Ensure the home is within budget & meets occupancy targets (1 per week)
