Deputy Home Manager – Northampton

£26000 – £28000

The home is a beautifully converted period style property, offering residential care to elderly frail.  The home is rated as Good with CQC and has benefited from stable management and a committed and caring staff team.

Requirements:

  • Experienced deputy manager or team leader ready for progression
  • Qualified to at least L3
  • Good knowledge of long term elderly care
  • Working knowledge of CQC fundamental standards and person centred care

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home on a 24hr basis
  • To ensure that all residents are provided with the highest possible standards of care
  • Manage and oversee the team leaders
  • Organise and co-ordinate special / social events
  • Manage and ensure that care reviews are carried out with residents and their representatives
  • Oversee and be responsible for daily recording
  • Manage return to work meetings for absent staff
  • Take responsibility for rota management
  • Responsible for medication management

 

Contract, Remuneration and benefits:

  • £26000 – £28000pa
  • All shifts are supernumerary unless emergency cover is required
  • Contracted to 37.5 hrs per week, working 0730-1430 / 1300  – 2030 and alternate weekends
