Our client is multi-award winning and offers excellent training and development opportunities, they are a niche care home operator in the private care sector for older people and provides first class residential, nursing and dementia care.

The home in Frome has been open since 2013 and is good rated with the CQC following an inspection earlier this year, the home benefits from a stable staff team and now seeks a new Deputy Manager due to promotion.

As the successful candidate you will be clinical expert within the home, you will lead mentor and coach the care delivery team always promoting best practice.


  • Carry out assessments of potential residents
  • Supervise and line mange a team of carers and nurses
  • Support the home manager with running the home effectively
  • Complete regular audits ensuring the home is compliant and meeting standards
  • Recruit and retain staff in partnership with the home manager
  • Attend seminars, community meetings
  • Responsible for reporting safeguarding’s and liaising with healthcare professionals


  • Nurse qualified with an active PIN
  • Level 5 in leadership and management or willingness to work towards
  • Experience of supervising/mentoring clinical teams within a care home or hospital setting
  • Excellent clinical knowledge of caring for older people
  • A visionary leader
  • Good working knowledge of POVA, DoLs, Safeguarding, CQC
