General Home Manager – Luxury Care Home for older people

£65k – £75k plus competitive bonus, pension and other benefits

The role offers the opportunity to work with a provider of high quality care for older people with a variety of care and nursing needs. The home is of a medium size and is Good rated with the CQC.  Our client is keen to meet with committed managers who are able to provide long term commitment to the development of the home whilst developing their skills and experience for further career development within the business

Responsibilities

  • CQC Registered Manager for the care home
  • Leadership and general oversight of all aspects of home management
  • Direct line management of Deputy Manager
  • Sales and Marketing of the home within the private market
  • Recruitment and retention of management and clinical team
  • Clinical governance and management of incidents and accidents reporting to relevant bodies
  • Delivering to financial KPI

Requirements

  • Proven track record in management of a care home for older people
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
  • Business acumen and sound financial management abilities
  • Previous CQC registered manager status
