Group Operations Manager – London and Home Counties
We’re delighted to be supporting the Directors of a regional care group with the appointment of their Group Operations Manager.
This is a key appointment for our client who are successfully operating homes across London and Home Counties. As one of the smaller providers operating in this challenging sector they are competing very well alongside the larger groups and are able to offer very competitive remuneration for all levels of staff.
Their portfolio of homes are mixed, from small luxury intimate surroundings to large vibrant purpose built care centres. They are particularly proud of their staff engagement and offer a support and inclusive culture and for those ambitious rising stars there is plenty of opportunities for further training and progression.
As the Group Operations Manager, reporting directly into the Directors you will be responsible for the day to day running and strategic development of the homes. You will ensure the effective management of all staff, and work with Managers to ensure ‘Good’ status at all homes as a minimum working towards “Outstanding”.
You will be the Safeguarding lead for the group, attending safeguarding meetings and managing complaints and concerns in a professional manner. With a keen commercial eye you will monitor occupancy levels and work with Managers to ensure good levels are maintained. You will carry out provider visits ensuring homes are audited in line with regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced multi-site Operations Manager who enjoys working in a smaller, non corporate environment. A nursing qualification and current PIN is highly desirable.
