Salary £45,000 – £50,000pa

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse qualified Home Manager in Kidderminster.  The home is operating to a high standard, however we are seeking an inspirational leader to develop practice in the home and promote the highest possible standards of care.  The ideal Manager would be someone with an eye for detail and commitment to quality, someone with strong values and positive leadership style.

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse
  • Management qualification (NVQ or Diploma)
  • Previous home management experience
  • Knowledge of Care Act 2014 Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and CQC
  • An understanding and empathy in elderly care

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of the care home’s daily operation, ensuring the highest standards of care
  • Actively promote the home and maintain full occupancy
  • Agree and manage the homes budgets
  • Organise and manage the homes training matrix
  • Manage the recruitment of new staff and oversee the induction programmes
  • Ensure regular staff supervisions and appraisals take place
  • Audit care plans and systems on a regular basis

Contract, Remuneration and benefits:

  • In the region of £45,000 – £50,000pa neg DOSE
