This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Home Manager with a Level 5 in leadership for Health and Social Care and Children / Young Peoples Services or a willingness to work towards this qualification looking for a new opportunity working with an established and highly regarded charity. This is a full time role offering a salary in the region of £41,000 per annum, depending on experience plus additional benefits

Responsibilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for the day to day organisation and running of the home
  • Create and maintain an open, positive and inclusive atmosphere
  • Lead a team of care professionals
  • Formulate Care Plans

 Essential criteria:

  • RGN/RMN qualified with a current PIN
  • Have completed or be willing to complete Level 5 in Health and Social Care and Children / Young Peoples Services
  • Proven management / supervisory experience & supporting people with learning / physical disabilities
  • Experience of managing teams and effective performance management including supervision, appraisal and conflict resolution
  • Evidence continuous professional development
  • Good working knowledge of National Minimum Care Standards
  • Be passionate and committed in delivering high standards of care and nurturing
  • Approachable, a good listener and communicator
  • Full driving licence
