Unit Manager – Nursing & Residential Care  

Salary:              £40k – £42k plus excellent benefits!

Location:        Southampton

Our client is a first class nursing, residential and dementia provider with a portfolio of purpose built care homes across the UK, now seeking a Unit Manger to join their established team in Southampton.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for mentoring and leading the care delivery team of approx. 60 staff, you will complete regular audits and assessments of new residents whilst always ensuring high standards are met.

You will be a motivational manager who will really be able to engage/promote the quality of life of the residents and ensure the care delivery team are supported.

Our client is not necessarily seeking a clinical candidate for this post, but you must have a proven track record in a supervisory role and be a strong & motivational leader.


  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management or willingness to work towards
  • Proven track record of working in a supervisory role in a care setting
  • A strong and collaborative management style
  • Ability to motivate teams & a can do attitude
  • Good working knowledge of current regs and legislation
  • NMC Pin desirable
