Head of Nursing

We are representing an exclusive and exceptional retirement living organisation in their recruitment of a Head of Nursing in the Wandsworth area.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with a fast growing retirement living provider in a state of the art retirement living and nursing home setting. All of their homes are purpose built and bespoke in design incorporating all the latest design and innovation within the sector.

We have a long-standing relationship with this outstanding provider of luxury care and living for older people, they have an excellent reputation, high staff retention levels, excellent CQC ratings and have achieved numerous sector awards.

As such our client is seeking only the very best, brightest and motivated Clinical management professionals for this wonderful home.  They require someone who can work closely with the manager and deputy home manager to support targeted growth and standards to become the first choice for nursing care and retirement living in the area.

Responsibilities

• Care team leadership and oversight of residents care.
• Support on and where required lead on Recruitment, retention, supervision and development of Clinical staff team.
• Support General Manager in developing and growing the resource within the home to meet targets and that match the local market expectations.
• Reporting to General Manager.

Requirements

• Nurse Qualified with a current and valid NMC PIN.
• Able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of nursing and clinical standards and management.
• You will have a proven track record as a Care Service Manager/Deputy Manager within a nursing home setting.
• You must have experience with a commercial care provider of high end care for older people working exclusively with the private fee paying residents.
• Comprehensive understanding of CQC and other relevant legislation for the provision of care for older people.

Up to £60,000 p.a.
