On Tuesday, March 3rd, our Director, Karen, attended the Leading Women in Care Awards, a fantastic event celebrating the outstanding leadership and achievements of women in social care.

The day provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with sector leaders and gain valuable insights from two expert panels. Discussions covered leadership approaches, motivation, good habits, passion for the sector, and the critical importance of mental well-being.

Unlike many other events, this gathering created a space where women felt empowered to share their unique experiences and celebrate the invaluable contributions of a predominantly female workforce in the care sector. It was truly inspiring to be surrounded by women who are dedicated to making a difference and ensuring the highest standards of care.

We were delighted to reconnect with our partners and form new connections with inspiring individuals, including Samantha Crawley, Vivien Ziwocha, Anoushka Farouk, Palvi Dodhia, Fiona Allen, Avnish Goyal, and Caroline Roberts.
