Our director Karen, was delighted to attend the Outstanding Society Strategy meeting, where partners meet to celebrate the society’s achievements to date and to plan for the year ahead.  It was a great afternoon and opportunity to hear about the amazing research being undertaken by the Vivaldi project to understand data on infection and how this can be used to improve the lives and care of residents. Equally great to hear about the success of the Care shows along with the new work being undertaken with SCNAC – Social care nursing advisory council in raising the profile of social care nursing.  Really enjoyed meeting up with fellow partners and sharing our ideas on how we can best support the Outstanding Society in curating both meaningful and useful guidance/information on best practice for social care providers who are members of the Outstanding Society; pursuing the goal of Outstanding care for all.  A big thank you to the directors and the team at Outstanding society for the invitation and to Ed Farthing at Howdens for hosting at your amazing offices. Looking forward to this years events and impact.
