Clinical Deputy Home Manager

Bright Selection is very excited to be recruiting a Deputy Manager for a luxury care home that provides first class nursing care in an award-winning environment.

Our client is a leading provider in the care sector for older people, they offer individual succession plans for all members of staff and excellent training, our client is fast paced and is always seeking new ways to provide innovative care.

You will be the clinical care expert within the home, all things care related will fall under your remit; you will ensure the care staff team are supported and trained to provide the very best care; you will recruit and retain staff, carry out assessments for new residents and ensure standards are always high.

The role is part supernumerary, part nursing, primarily Monday – Friday with occasional weekend working, so flexibility is required.

Requirements:

• Nurse qualified with an active NMC Pin.
• A proven track record leading clinical teams in a care setting.
• Excellent knowledge of MCA, DoLs, POVA, CQC, revalidation.
• A visionary leader.
• Able to motivate staff teams.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out assessments of potential new residents.
• Regularly liaise with healthcare professionals & attend meetings.
• Supervise, coach and mentor the care delivery team.
• Be the clinical expert within the care home.
• Support the Home Manager with managerial duties.
• Ensure clinical audits are carried out.
