Consultant Social Work – Part time

Excellent opportunity to join an independent social work assessment consultancy in providing support, mentoring and guidance on child protection assessments.

Responsibilities  

• Reporting into the Operations Director.
• Provide line management/guidance/practice of family support workers.
• Advisory and consultancy.
• Active and direct social work.
• Work alongside the Operations Director on assessments.
• Provide guidance and support for the family support worker team on child protection legislation and care proceedings.
• Compliance and governance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Team Leader and Senior Practitioner.
• Child Protection social work knowledge is absolutely fundamental.
• Focus will be on providing oversight on quality of work.
• Quality assurance/assessment reports.
• Need to be able to contribute to relationship building.
