Nursing Home Manager
I am recruiting on behalf of an established luxury care home provider for a Nursing Home Manager based in Glasgow.
Our client requires an experienced nursing home manager for a large luxury nursing and dementia care home, the home is good rated in all areas with CI. The role has become available due to internal promotion. As such the successful manager will be joining a high achieving home and will benefit from the support of an experienced nurse qualified area manager.
Requirements
- Nurse qualification with valid NMC Pin
- Management qualification and proven track record in leadership
- Experience of successfully managing a care home
- Proven ability in budget preparation and control
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation
Responsibilities
- CI registration
- Maintaining the successful running of the home; providing the highest standards of care and exceeding residents expectations and needs
- Providing staff with guidance, advice and training
- Manage and be accountable for the home’s income and expenditure budgets
- Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision
- Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines
- Market and promote the business to external agencies and within the wider community
