Nursing Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced general manager for this beautiful and successful care home that provides nursing, residential and specialist dementia care to an older client group.  You will be well supported by a nurse qualified deputy manager, dementia manager and a client relationship manager.

Requirements

• L5 / L4 Management or equivalent qualification.
• Nurse qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience of successfully managing a privately funded home.
• Proven ability in budget preparation and control.
• Excellent knowledge of CQC legislation.
• Positive and engaging leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the successful running of the home; providing the highest standards of care and exceeding residents expectations and needs.  Achieve and maintain Good CQC outcomes.
• Providing staff with guidance, support, advice and training.
• Manage and be accountable for the home’s income and expenditure budgets.
• Ensure that systems are used effectively to monitor the quality of service provision.
• Motivate and manage staff team to achieve agreed targets and deadlines.

Remuneration

• Salary offered c£75,000 per annum DOE plus bonus.
