Operations Manager

Are you an experienced Operations Manager in the café or hospitality sector looking to step out of the corporate world and make a real difference in your community? Do you want to lead the expansion of a not-for-profit café with a mission to combat loneliness and social isolation?

Responsibilities:
In this hands-on and strategic role, you will:

• Oversee the café’s day-to-day operations, including Health & Safety and Environmental Health compliance.
• Drive business strategy, marketing, and recruitment efforts.
• Manage a team of volunteers (currently 50, expected to grow to 100 by the end of the year).
• Engage with the local community and support fundraising initiatives.
• Lead the café’s expansion, with plans to open new locations in the future.

Requirements:
We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for giving back and working in a community-focused environment.
• Has experience in the café or hospitality sector.
• Is skilled at managing both strategic and operational responsibilities.
• Is excited to contribute to a cause that supports social good.

Remuneration:
Circa £40,000-£50,000 DOE
